Peugeot unveils electric-powered, three-wheeled car of the future

Last year Peugeot launched the fifth edition of its annual design contest, this time asking creative types around the world to "Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megalopolis of tomorrow." Many interesting entries were shown off, but the ultimate winner was Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar, a Columbian designer who created a sleek, electric-powered, three-wheeled Peugeot design that looks futuristic, but entirely practical.

The one-seater Peugeot RD would feature voice-assisted driving, and a single panoramic windshield. In addition to the 10,000 euros and an Xbox 360, part of the prize was seeing the design become a reality (shown above). The concept car is currently on display at the Shanghai Motor Show
